Abstract

Messianism is one of the core beliefs of Judaism. In the 19th and 20th centuries, under the influence of the anti-Semitism, part of the Jewish wanted to be integrated into the country and had equal rights with the other peoples in the country, while the other part longed to return to their homeland but hampered by the messianic narrative of the diaspora politics. In this case, the messianism made a transition, strengthened its political overtones, formed the messianism view of seeking redemption actively, and combined with the desire to return to the homeland, it provided the basis for the Zionism, which ultimately broke the diaspora politics. Up to now, messianism and its political overtones still have a profound impact on the historical process of the Jewish nation.
