The establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Israel in 1992 promoted the upsurge of Chinese scholars to study Jewish traditional culture. The Hebrew Bible, as a Jewish religious classic, has increasingly attracted academic attention. This paper summarizes the academic research achievements in the past 30 years from the aspects of multi-dimensional text research of the Hebrew Bible, the Hebrew Bible and the ancient history of Israel, the comparative study of the Hebrew Bible and other classics, and the cross text stress between the Hebrew Bible and Chinese traditional culture. On this basis, it is believed that domestic scholars’ research on the Hebrew Bible has Chinese characteristics and shows a unique Chinese perspective. But at the same time, there are still shortcomings such as limited research breadth and depth, language limitations, and lack of international vision.
